Vintage signed Loet Vanderveen pottery whale sculpture

Vintage Loet Vanderveen pottery whale sculpture...signed Loet. Handmade with a rough brown stone-pottery material and a bubbly glazed finish. Wonderful texture with a muted wash of grey and spotty golden-brown. Shows vintage wear...little surface bubbles to glaze from when made...rough along bottom edges so it's hard to tell if how it was made or actual chips/nicks--though does look like maybe a little chip to back bottom edge(top left pic3). His tail has been repaired--crack lines goes all around(see pics5). Due to design and repair--fragile piece need handled with care. *Please note photos
