Vintage pair Italian torch sconces

Vintage pair estate found salvaged unwired fancy wall sconces marked Made in Italy. Very unique torch design in carved wood with detailed wings and metal toleware flames. Ornate cream floral detailing with faces...unsure what type material these trim pieces are made from. Some gold gilt finish on wings and flames. Unique color...slightly dark-orange so unsure if this is the wood's natural coloring or stained. **These are not wired as actual lights...though there are openings inside the tops and looks like holes down through arms and on along bottom backs for adding your own.

One has repairs to both sides of wings along the bottom. Small metal back plates have recently been added to both for stability along this more delicate wing area that have the little wall mounting holes. Vintage wear with some some scratches and worn finish...some little chips to finish and tiny splits to wood...some little bends to metal flame tips...bit dusty down inside tops. *Please note photos
